Tuning AirForce Condor SS .22

Gents, 

Purchased a 22 Cóndor SS.

The barrel was changed out from a 25 to a 22 for me.

When I arrived home from purchasing it and took it out of the box, i noticed a sound coming from inside the shroud. 


i took off the end cap and it had all 3 baffles and washer inside.

is it normal for these baffles to be moving back and forth about 1/2” or soo?

i called the dealer and he said that’s strange and will take a look at it once I stop-by BUT, that over an hour drive!!

Anyone have an idea as to what’s going on with my Condor SS? Is it normal after a barrel swap?

I could be mistaken, but it seems I've read of 2 different outer diameters on the air force barrels. Not certain and no experience with the SS myself, though I do have 2 Condors. A call to AirForce directly might get you the most usable information. They are in Fort Worth, TX IIRC.

There is a screw about 5 inches back from the end of the shroud on the under side that holds the baffles. If that was not put back when the barrel was changed the baffles will move around. Pull the end cap off and make sure the first baffle is up against the screw if the screw is in the shroud.
