Airforce AirForce CONDOR 40gr SLUG FEST (Full Review)

You do not have to remove the gauge and Foster fitting to install the tank like it shows in the video.
Loosen the set screw in the side of the Frame just ahead of your gauge on the left side, then the insert will spin freely. The gun should have come with a spanner that fits the ring-loc insert to tighten the bottle down in the position you like and the snug the set screw.

I thought I heard him say in the beginning that it is 1:16.

My question is should the be that hard to push in? Is that because it’s a really long slug, or too big diameter.
It's not the lenght. Thet must get alot longer. So .217 is the 40gr diameter... I think that's the perfect fit. But I'm not a slug guy. Also, you don't have to push them in all the way... as per Mr. Hollowpoint. Just seal that barrel snugly. ...but you can try .216 diameter too.

I pinned a comment about that. I think they left that out of the manual. Silly Americans! Thank you for the clarification! -Nate

They are undersized slugs and that's the dilemma, if you match the bore at 0.215 you fear slug falling down the barrel, and if you match the groove at 0.220 you fear slug getting jammed. Typical pellet barrels Shed a ton of velocity and power to slugs, Which can be as high as 30%, that 30% gain is more than enough to make a joke out of high-end platforms.

+1 on what was said about the early .22 barrels 1-17 twist rate. I have an early model with removable tank to fill. Very accurate bbl and with a Doug spring and top hat @ .125 she shoot the .217 griffin 30 hpbt@ 1000 fps lights out. Blasted many soda cans @ 200/250 yds. A tankers dream.

I really thought that it was a mis spell or mis print since AF are really hard changing things.. but yes new barrels are indeed 1-16 ..thanks Nate.. now I'm going to get me one of those..it would be great if they update the .25 to -1-16 to ..great Vid..👍👍..
. well I'm really lost now I found a article from Tom Gaylord about the .22 airforce barrel from 2013 talking about the 1-16 twist used.... when I have believed that all AF barrels were 1-17.7 ..all these years..
