I am looking for the best solution for mounting a SIG Romeo Zero (RMSc footprint) to my Diana Airbug.

i would think you would give a mounting plate for Weaver and use a 2 inch adapter
BUT with all that will it be CENTERED
now you could do the same thing but use the 2 screw holes for the factory sight
but there will be a skill level of drill head nuts in the center of the mount and making the holes match up i would not do it without a drill press an automatic center punch a 2mm drill to start
if you are handy, it would be easy if not well i don't know
