and inherent weaknesses, finally found a measure of satisfaction. These groups @ 50 yards with JSB 33.95 MKII. Chronograph results; Mean: 766.8, SD: 1.11, FPE: 44.3. DonnyFL $50 adapter and Frankenstein .50 moderator resolved accuracy and sound moderation concerns. WM

Your work and patience have been rewarded. Excellent groups and an SD of 1!!!
Please let us know what all you had to do to get to this point.
10/2022- Max arrived from PA, cleaned barrel, scoped and aired up. Testing showed heavily spiraling pellets, occasional loud "clang," and noise like a .22 PB. Spiraling or "corkscrew" pellet flight meant too high speed/twist or damaged pellet attempting self-correct. Figured speed was off so, after marking factory settings, adjusted HS and reg with no success. Pellet variety, cutting "breather" groove inside stock and plastic spacer between stock and action, all from AGN, "Airacuda Updates," thread, made no difference. Pulling of shroud revealed pellet fragments, coating of silver, oily film and scored baffles. Drilling larger baffle channels brought no change. Stumped until Firewalker suggested warped shroud, try flipping end to end. Removing shroud cap revealed stack bolt never tightened down. Corrected, now somewhat accurate, occasional spiral, much quieter, no clang. Returned HS and reg to factory settings, began re-tuning for tighter groups, best being one turn in HS from factory, reg @1880psi. Pinpoint accuracy lacking, as well as consistency, stumped again until DonnyFL adapter came to market, replacing 6-part baffle stack with solid connection, barrel to shroud. Accuracy very good but no sound suppression, loud as .22 PB, again. Tried 6 moderators, both .25 and .30, all clipped pellets. Using 3/8 drill bit, opened up plastic center section of (STO) PUGIO .30 moderator, now on target with 3–5-inch groups. Used 1/2 drill bit on plastic insert, then replaced .30 exit end cap with M14 (1/2") for accuracy with good sound moderation. Final Frankenstein version, pictured above, transferred parts to longer (STO) FALX shell. Trying different JSB ammo, 33.95s MKIIs brought saga to end. WM
