Just got another and it shoots the same as my GAMO COMPACTS it's the same gun. Easier to pump than my loud P17s (fantastic $30 pistol BTW) and quieter too and not as hungry to bite the skin off my hand. P17s real hungry for skin.
I used the P17 to chase off some squirrels yesterday-probably shot 35-40 rounds. No issues with "eating skin" or otherwise. Can't understand the issue with this but it seems quite a few have difficulty shooting the things.
Much nicer pistol than a P 17. Or even the HW40. I have all three. Nicer because it is easier to cock and easier to shoot accurately. One of the easiest guns to shoot accurately I have had. Change out the trigger spring and adjust the trigger until it bump fires and put a little back. I bought my Gamo Compact from Air Rifle Specialist quite a few years ago.. Trigger is better on a well sorted P17 or HW40. But the Gamo trigger is still pretty good. I could consistently shoot in the 90's with mine at ten meters. When I could see well enough.
Found the HW75, HW40 and P17 variants to all have better triggers, despite not being true target pistols.
Its trigger is at best average for a general plinking pistol but the aforementioned pistols are supposed to be the sporting plinkers and the V10 intended as being a fully fledged target model. Sights are plastic and the build quality of the cocking arm not as good as any of the guns mentioned.
Spanish stuff is generally low average in the world of guns but the V10 just about bucks that ...its not bad and you can get more out of the grip than the HWs sporting grips.
