That's a Gamo Compact. Have owned one. Accuracy is quite good especially when the price factor is taken into account

Is that your pistol? Can you confirm how the sight is mounted?

I used double back tape (the butyl rubber tape) to put the red dot sights on my FAS 6004 and my Sig Sauer ASP (very similar guns). Both have flat areas on the top, neither have any sort or size of dovetail rail. Take some care with the installation, works very well.

If you look close, under the main part of the sight, it looks like some sort of tape.

The red dot sights help a LOT with my almost 70yr. old eyes, over iron sights..! Especially on lower light as my "range" is.
