Air Venturi Compressor

I just got an Air Venturi compressor (the full size) and was filling it with oil for the first time. The manual says 1/3 qrt. of oil and shows a pic of the sight gauge showing the proper level. I put in the 1/3 qrt. (10 oz.+ a little.) It didn’t come close to the proper fill level. Anyone else run into this?

id fill it to the proper sight level .. things can be misprinted, doubtful the sight window is wrong ...

The 1st 10 oz’s never showed on the sight gauge so I was a little hesitant. But I continued adding and finally it started to show. I did fill it until the proper level and WOW it took a total of 17 oz. I’m sure glad I bought two bottles of oil. LOL

Yep, use the sight level. I never use the complete 16 oz bottle when i change oil, so it's about 10 oz or more.

And make sure it is as close to level as you can get it before filling.

I have the same set up , when i filled mine i filled just above the red ball in the window . Of course make sure its level and if you go a hair more not a problem .enjoy Ray
