air venturi avenger

Do you guys know anything about this gun? I seen it on pyramid air and read all they had to say about it. I have a TX2000 but was thinking about going to PCP to shoot with some friends. Hate that it's made in China but the price is hard to beat to start out. When I grow up I'll get a Red Wolf or something lol by the way I'm 60 always shot rimfire but am liking these pellet guns my TX is sweet walnut stock that I did with Royal London Oil turned out nice

yeah, my buddy is gonna give me his hand pump and another friend lives right down the road and has a compressor for his Condor. Got lucky there. I have mounts and couple of Nikons I can try on it for glass. Then might call Donny FL just for kicks My TX is in 22 so I'll probably go with that beings I have so many pellets anyway. Plus, I can get better shot count. I'll be shooting mostly about 80 yards or so. small stuff ground hogs possums that type stuff

Hold onto your receipt don't lose it. Don't do anything obvious to it until that warranty is expired. Try not to fill past 3000 psi. The other ATI Nova Liberty precursor version were prone to valve failure and leaks by design that's why they sell as-is fixer uppers for $100.00. Hope they drastically improved it with this model. We shall see.

If your hand pumping you most certainly will want to turn the regulator down from factory settings. It set at 3000 psi. You will have to turn down the hammer spring tension as well to get the best efficiency out of it. Air velocity sport did a good job tuning a gun similar to it. He recrowned the barrel and did some valve work on it. My guess is that you won't have to do any porting because this gun is basically a Nova Vista that air venturi power tuned. I do think the gun could benefit from some barrel work to get best accuracy. I think it's too soon to be really sure about how durable and accurate this gun can be. Personally I am going to wait a year to see how everyone likes thier. It's often best to wait to see what guns work out what guns don't before buying. Good luck buddy

What do you guys think of the Hatsan flashpup QE? Kind of leaning that way now. Someone said it's coming out with a side lever soon supposedly that's a lot better then the bolt. Sounds like better deal? They say the synthetic is a lot better than the wood I don't have any guns in synthetic but not afraid of that at all.

I have the flashpup s.i set my hammer spring to hard and it damaged the valve stem pretty bad,I had to send it in.i love that thing, it's a tack driver!!just don't turn the hammer spring to the max.i usually set it at 2¾ turns out for an average of 830 fps.good luck sir.

OK I went with the Avenger in 22 bought some H&N pellets 18.1 gr little heavier than what I shoot out of the TX200 got a couple of Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 scopes I'll try to start.with. gonna get with DonnyFL for a silencer Not that I really need it. I live in the country Most of my shots will be 75 yards and in size of my yard When they pull the fields in then it's however far I want to shoot. Thanks for the help
