Air Venturi Avenger shot count

I have a Avenger .22 now for about 4 months . using JSB 15.89 I have tried tuning it and the best I get is if I set the reg at 1900psi and hammer spring in 2 1/2 turns I can only get 30-40 shouts

at 1400psi and no turns in on HS I get 50-60 shots but not as much power as I would hope for.

Did I just get a bad gun or is there something else I can try?

Do you feel a puff of air around the magazine when you shoot it? If so the pellet probe o-rings are not sealing. A better solution is to replace both o-rings with one piece of urethane tubing. Tygon 2.5mm x 5mm for .22 caliber. Cut to 4mm length. https://www.amazon.com/HIPA-10-Feet-Tubing-Chainsaw-Trimmer/dp/B00V9XS07C/ Enough to make 781 seals so you can sell some or give some away. This is exactly the same as the o-ring delete you see on youtube.

I have watch the AEAC tuning guide and I have replaced the o-rings with o-ring delete kit.

I have placed a tissue over the breach and no air is escaping. Someone suggested that 

the ports may have to be enlarged but Not sure I want to try that.

If you don't already have one, get a chronograph. Essential for tuning airguns.

Do you have the tubing size for the .25 caliber?

What is your starting fill pressure? Mine has a similar tune and gets far more shots when filled to 4200 psi and of course fewer when filled to 3000 psi.

I think 40 shots sounds about right honestly.
