Air Venturi Avenger Hammer Spring Adjuster

I am attempting to make the first hammer spring adjustment on a new Avenger. How hard should the adjuster be to turn?

Mine is frighteningly tight in either direction. I tried with the rifle not cocked and cocked.

Mine wasn't bad but it did have one stiff spot. If you check out the tuning video on the AEAC vlog youtube channel he talks about the spring around the 21 min mark.

I just adjusted my sons.25 avenger. It’s a little stiff, but not bad. I adjusted it 2 turns out and set the regulator at 1400psi. I also adjusted the trigger and took all of the travel out. And lightened it a little, now it has a much better trigger.

I just watched a video from Steve of Air velocity sport he does a complete tear down and some modifications to the avenger you may want to watch it will show you all you need thank you Steve

Just wiggle it back and forth lol. Mine was pretty stiff too but it buffed out pretty quick.

I did not have any problems with my Hammer spring adjuster on my .25 Avenger I would expect them to have some resistance so after adjusted it holds position ...

I think for me adjusting lowering the pull weight made the biggest difference ,and after that is has for me the capability for 3 shot groups hole threw hole jsb 25.39 at 50 yards , the trigger adjusted right makes a huge difference when going after pin point accuracy .
