It's the best option in that budget range. You can adjust it for mid/ low power all the way up to high power in .22 and .25.
Trigger is fine after some adjustment and the gun works well. Very accurate!

I'm thinking 22 or 25, for plinking in the back yard, maybe take out an occasional squirrel. I already have a 177 but it is one of those spring air guns. I have a benjamin bulldog too but that is too much for the back yard in general.

The Walther Reign is also a good bet.
Inexpensive, accurate, simple, adjustable trigger. Mine's (.22) over a year old with no air leakage.

Watching a "come on man" review video of the Walther Reign right now. Looks good though, thanks.

Avenger (in my opinion) is hands down the best gun for the money going right now. Accurate and consistent.

I saw these videos....a bit slow but he seems to be genuine, has donated his time and effort, and doesn't seem like a *****. I cannot complain really--I wish more people did this sort of thing, though I understand why some people would not want to do such a video. Lots of work.

I really like my Avenger Bullpup in .25 caliber. Very good gun for twice the money. It would be perfect if it had a more forward cocking lever and a bigger air plenum, but it is really good as is.

Does the stock come off in one piece?? If so would it be worth hydro dipping or is it as cheap as the rifle stock?
