Air venturi avenger bullpup conversion.

I honestly don't know, but my suggestion is if you want the bullpup verison of the Avenger, then buy one and keep the original as is.

That way you will probably (you WILL) save money and have both versions so when one isn't feasible, the other one will be.

Converting any airgun from one version to another is usually much more expensive in the long run than simply buying the version you want, if available... and the bullpup version of the Avenger IS already available. Don't shoot yourself in the foot trying to DIY what is already available. (smile)

p.s.

I say this as an honest DIY type person. Some things, like moderators, can be made DIY and save money and often be MUCH better than you can buy for $$$. In this case, this simply is not true AFAIK. Good luck!

There are folks out there that can do it, but it's NOT at all for the faint of wallet !
Years ago, I had a guy make me a bullpup stock for my Ruger, 10-22. Incredible work, but shortly after doing mine, his prices jumped WAY up, and he was STILL busy doing stocks for people.

As said above, even though, none of the current crop of bullpups will give you any "originality, or "one of a kind", it'll be MUCH cheaper to buy a complete gun from a dealer .

I think the Avenger bullpup actually has some features that aren't available on the regular Avenger. But I don't remember what they are and since I have no intention of buying an Avenger or the bullpup version, I will only look that up if I am paid to do so. (chuckle)

So, the OP can look these things up or not. (smile)

Damn... do I get more surly as I get older or just more honest without filters? (chuckle)

Bad teeth, arthritis, etc, etc, ... yeah...

I just get more ornery as I age and/or have a harder time dealing with folks who just want the answer they are looking for, not the truth. (heavy sigh)

And I have been guilty of the same... which makes me even ornerier! (chuckle)

This is my first post
I’m new to the forum and new to pcp air guns.
A couple weeks ago I bought an AV Avenger Bullpup in 25cal.
(Same features as the Avenger but nicely compact, and I really like the tune-ability of them.)

Once I had it in hand I noticed the overall large bulky size of the stock profile.
I’d like to change it out for a custom wooden stock but I know that would not be cost effective, however…

That being said, if anyone has advice for removing the action from the stock I’m willing to listen so I can possibly build a custom stock.
I am a skilled wood butcher so I am able to fabricate a slimmer wood stock if the underlying mechanics will let me.

Removing the action safely may be beyond my technical skill set and tool selection.
In a previous life I did maintain SCBA’s for a fire department though so I have that going for me.
If you have advice please get in touch.
Thanks!
