Air Venturi Avenger Barrel Band

Hello all. This is a question for those that use an additional barrel band on their air venturi avenger or any other rifle for that matter. Where is the best place to mount it? Is it better to have it as close to the muzzle as possible or further back. Thanks in advance.

I'd assume closest to the muzzle while still being able to take off the fill cap so that the end of the barrel shroud stays aligned with the rest of the gun better. It also could help if the shroud and long air tube are slapping each other with shots at higher regulator pressures.

I bottle modded mine like 2 weeks into owning it so someone who has left theirs stock could give an answer too.

I do know that there are multiple places to get bands for the stock tubes, and I'd recommend the wider the better. AE Swede makes some or this one if you put a tactical stock on exposing the short tube.

Ebay has some by a seller I've bought from too. Good stuff.

I would recommend having it more forward to support the shroud and barrel as evenly as possible, Also i would try an inch or half an inch back or forward to see if accuracy improves more as bands can dampen harmonics differently in other locations.

I'd think shoot and adjust . Heck may put it on and not make anything better or could go to worse .. so many threads around on this to look at any tips or pictures to graze over and see what guys done ..
