I have an Air Venturi 90ci carbon fiber tank I just replaced the universal fill adapter on. The tank filled fine before but now won't allow any air into the fill port. Any ideas?

Does your adapter have a long center pin that is required by the regulator to depress the ball check valve?

Yes,
the 90ci tanks often have a different regulator set up, that requires a specific connector with pin, to fill them. So, people don't stick them on their paintball guns and destroy them. The tank and reg system as well as the fill station valve that goes with it must be used together.

T3PRanch and Biohazardman are correct but the post could be read as the 90 cuin tank will not 'receive' a fill. Just checking.

The special setup for the 90 cubic inch tanks is also regulated at 3000 psi. This has pluses and minuses.
Plus - I have a Marauder that I've added a regulator. It only shows regulated pressure, so using a regulated air sources means I can't over pressurize the tank.
Plus - I can tether directly to the tank with a 3000 PSI regulator and just shoot away.
Plus - Easy to take to the range and shoot tethered if I want.
Minus - I have an Impact, it's capable of holding 4200 PSI, so I can't fill the tank to full pressure.
I have two of them, easy to use, easy to fill with a Yong Heng type compressor, I like them.

I had my tank regulated like that but for other guns that take more air I removed the reg set up and got a new valve from tanksforsale or Joe b
