My Air Venturi 3000 PSI 13 CU tanks leaks from the pressure gauge. I tightened it a little but still leaks. Is there an o-ring of some sorts that needs to be replaced?

I ordered one from Pyramyd Air and it leaked also.I called them up and they replaced it no problem. The new one is holding air fine, I filled it up and let it sit for 3 days before installing it on a Sig MPX I converted. As long as you are in the 60 day return window I would just return it and get a new one. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. I am out 64 days so they wont replace it. I to use it on my Sig MPX.
What are you using to re-fill the tank? Yong-Hang Air compressor?

If it's from the threaded area it's probably a oring or needs a little more tightening or if it is coming from the gauge out the back of the dial then you need a new gauge

It is coming from the back of the gauge. I will try to work with Air Venturi and see if they can send me a new gauge. They are extremely slow in getting back to me.

I found that the yellow gas thread tape from home depot, Lowe's, etc does a great job sealing threads for high pressure air fittings. I just added some to my pressure gauge that was leaking on my 88ci Air Venturi tank.

Check out ansgear.com they are a paintball supply store in Simi Valley, California.They have gauges and o-rings and everything you could need for a 13ci bottle.I filled my Sig Virtus this morning after shooting and I noticed air coming out of the opening of the fill probe. It is so slow that it slowly pushes off the cap cover when I put it on.Very funny to watch but it means it is leaking very slow. I will be going to ANSgear to get a new fill nipple, they have those too.

I did in take off the gauge and used the yellow teflon tape but it still leaks. Probably the small clear O ring

I also got the First Strike Floating Stock from them for my Virtus. You can see some pictures of it on the Pyramyd Air website. It looks pretty good but it was a tight fit, I had to do a lot of sanding to make it fit loose enough to operate the length of pull. If you do not need to have that feature you could just push it on to cover the tank. I just fiddled with it because I was bored LOL.

ANSgear has a wide range of bottles and regulators from various manufacturers. They have extra high pressure kits for the regulators that will take it up to 1000psi. That puts it almost at the 1100psi pressure from AirVenturi. Paint ball bottles usually have around 850psi, hope this helps.

From what it looks like to me, AirVenturi and Sig are buying their bottles from one of those companies and putting their name on them with a higher reg pressure.

Well I just got back from ANSgear to get a new fill nipple and of course the diameter of the threaded part of the nipple is bigger than the original. So now I will contact Sig and AirVenturi to see if I can get one from them. If not time to buy a new bottle.

I have been trying to work with Air Venturi but there response has been extremely slow and very poor support. With that being said I would not ever get any Air Venturi parts.

I called AirVenturi this morning and told them what my problem is and she is sending me a new fill nipple with extra o-rings free of charge. Air Venturi is part of PyramydAir, they even have the same address. I bought the bottle and adapter set from Pyramyd Air just a few weeks ago, she looked up my account and said no problem. I have always had great response and service from Pyramyd Air. This is the first time dealing with Air Venturi and they were just as good. Sorry you had a bad experience.

13ci bottles are from HK ARMY, WARRIOR, NINJA, FIRST STRIKE, and TIPPMANN. I do not know if the thread sizes on the bottles to screw into the gun of those brands match up with the air gun threads and diameter, they are for paint ball guns. I should have brought my Virtus with me to check but I did not think of it. Probably not if the fill nipple was a different size thread which is a bummer because we would have a lot to choose from if they did.
