Air Venture or Omega which would you choose

A couple of the guys I shoot with are looking at getting a compressor to keep from having to go 40 miles to get our tanks filled and also a couple of the tanks are out of hydro. We are looking at the Air Venture or the Omega Super charger possibly the Turbo charger. I know this topic gets beat to death but was wondering what people with experience with both had to say about them? I guess I will add that personally I am leaning towards the Super charger as maybe being the longer lasting unit with the Turbo charger probably worth the extra money. Any input would be appreciated.

IMO, Go with the Turbo Charger!

I have owned both the Super and the Turbo chargers. I still own the Turbo and I'm very happy with it. I have had no issues with it at all. I have the option to get all the free HP air I want from the local fire dept. which is 10 minutes away. Even with that free local resource, I still use my Turbo charger.

I can't speak to the Air Venturi as I have not owned one.

Good luck with your decision!

Tom

If you gonna spend $2000 on a Daystate 110 or any compressor nearing the $2000 price point go for the $2500 Coltri MCH6 instead from Nuvair. It will likely outlast everything mentioned plus fill dive bottles earn extra side money if you want. No stress at all filling. Already proven reliable.

It's a dedicated 4500psi dive quality commercial-ish compressor and the air is so clean even hospitals recommend this brand compressor for outpatients with breathing disabilities.

Next best thing to nitrogen to air your gun up with-?

Other than this a Bauer Jr2 for reliability and clean breathable air but cost almost double.

I opted to buy 2 Coltri MCH6s (one electric one Honda gas for portability but it's kinda loud fits in the trunk of a compact sedan one guy can carry it) instead in one Bauer Jr2.

Tried everything including Omega Supercharger failed 3x since new within a very short period of time couple Yong Hengs couple Altaros Boosters and Rocket Booster and couple FX Compressors.

I like to try everything that makes sense. Some I learn the hard way not listening to others not doing enough homework-research. Sound familiar-?

It's only money anyone can grab thousands of dollars from their bank account throw in a rubbish can and light the cash on fire if it makes you feel warm.

If you gonna pay close to 2k for a compressor. Get a daystate. It is 10x faster than those omega compressor. Those compressor use a small piston like ones found on s handpump. Basically its a electric handpump.

This is quite true, actually. From the AoA video where they disassemble the Omega Super Charger, it looks like the piston is about 1/4 of an inch in diameter. The piston on a handpump is a bit smaller, maybe 3/16ths of an inch. No idea what size the pistons are on bigger compressors like a Daystate.
