I have a question for those really in the know. Why would a gun use 4 times as much air at the beginning of a string than at the end? Is the reg not doing its job and allowing too much air past at the higher pressure ? I can’t make sense of this

i dont think it regulates volume of air so much as pressure .. higher pressure in the tank i would guess just moves faster and likely tends to flow more through ..

By the gauge first 10 shots from a 250 bar fill drop 40 bar last 10 shots only use 10 bar im getting 50 shot’s between 250 and 150 bar

These are pressure gauges, not volume gauges. My 25 cal Impact does the same thing, the first mag drops it from 250 to 200 and then I still get 4 more mags out of taking it down to 100. I wondered/worried about it at first but now I pay no attention until I get down to around 100.

Ditto to what others have posted. The total shot count is what matters unless you are shooting heavy projectiles at blistering speeds and then you left any care about shot counts way behind.
