Air Saber not building pressure

Brand new Air Saber, out of the box. Brand new Benijam traveler compressor. Not building pressure.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it the rifle ? There is air coming out of the compressor. I feel it in the adaptor. puff-puff-puff. But nothing builds pressure. Not on the rifle gauge, not on the compressor gauge. What's going on ?

This is my 1st PCP toy, so it's all new to me.

Check if the bleed valve is tightened in all the way
