I keep hearing about air rifle slug barrels. I,m not new to guns but somewhat new to air guns 5 years. I,m new to shooting slugs. I keep hearing most air rifles
Have to slow of a twist to to shoott
To shoot slugs unless you get a barrel liner for one. First of all I did not know there was such a thing of having a new liner installed
In a existing barrel. I would think you would have to buy a new barrel with a faster twist. Some one clear the air to my confusion on this. Now I checked the
Twist on my 25 cal avenger & it is 1to16 twist. That is not that slow in regards to barrels shooting conical s in other types of shooting? I know twist can go
down to 1in 10 or so. But round ball barrels can be as slow as 1in 66. I have not checked my other air riflles yet but I plan to. Can some one with true knowledge
Of this with air rifle please give your input.
