It's a great range indeed. It's a bit of a hike from Ahwatukee where I live but certainly worth the effort. I only wish the monthly events weren't scheduled so darn early in the morning.

I think Extreme bench rest is being moved (back) to this facility. It has been in Tucson for the past couple years, and although the facilities in Tucson were accommodating, they were not expandable to allow growth. Last year dozens of people had to be tuned away when registration filled. This year I think there is room for twice as many shooters. Also, as someone who flies into Phoenix for the competition, I am happy to not have to add the two hour drive.

Simply out of curiosity, will they allow slug guns at this range for the EBR? This is only a question from someone who has no skin in the game but have followed the EBR for the last two years. It seems if slug guns were allowed there would be a few more competitors in the mix.
