Air Rifle Scopes 2019

I have a Discovery VT-Z 4-16 x 44 SF on order from Charlie at Airgun Optics Plus and it was only a few bucks more that dealing directly with China. I liked dealing with a forum member better than some random marketing person. Mine should be here in a few weeks as it will be on the next batch that comes in. ( I was contacted right away about faster options and chose to wait). I'll let you guys know my thoughts when it's in hand. If It's not here by March, I will pony up some more money for the VT2.

Fish on paper it means a scope built for double recoil . But a true magnum Springer will eventually take it's toll on most any scope . The Vantage is an inexpensive lil scope and it isn't built for super hard double recoil . To the best of my knowledge Leupold is the only scope line that guarantee ANY of their scopes for any Airgun . Not to say they are the only ones who will warranty it . Just that all their scopes are enforced from both directions.

My personal opinion is what wrecks the internals isn't just the recoil but the harmonics of a large spring . I have a lil video called something like Magnum Scopes . It has a slow motion video that was filmed.ed by AoA in it . That sums up what a air rifle does to a hard fixed scope pretty well
