Steve Woodward (Steve NC) and Perry Babin did a ton of work about eleven/twelve years ago to produce this list of demos.
There is nothing else like it anywhere else that I know of .
Most of what you need to know about scope workings, trajectory, sight geometry, precession and nutation of pellets in flight, trajectory calculation, and yes, cant as BD points out further down this page, can be seen in interactive demonstrations with you in the drivers seat..

It is all a couple of clicks away! 

When you open this, pick one, click on it (# 17 is a good one to start with) then when it opens click on the "click HERE" at the bottom for full page effect, and start your interaction. I think you will be amazed at Steve Woodward's hidden maths and Perry Babin's computer programming skills so long ago.

Just to whet your interest here is a target I shot in 2004 using Steve Woodward's trajectory sight click, pellet drop plotter (Demo#9).

One shot at 100 yards, walk down get target, range-finder back for 90 yards set target, walk back , adjust sight as per the Demo #9, one shot, walk down set target at 80 yd, , walk back, adjust sight as per Demo #9, one shot etc ... to 30 yards.

Impressed? How far have rifles come accuracy-wise since that was done in 2004 with an FX 2000 / RWS Excalibre ?? ... Is that good enough for your squirrel hunting?

Perhaps respond when you have spent an hour or so playing with the demos . If you forget to bookmark it then go to the Yellow Forum, to the top of page 1. "Forum Rules" scroll down to "Air Gun Demos" and click. It has been there for about eleven or twelve years and answers a good % of the questions asked over and over and over ......... on forums......... Regards, Harry. That's the problem.
The demos are probably far too complex for tablets and phones. They are incredible productions.
I tried my own tablet and it didn't get started in half a minute.
But believe me when you bring the demos up on your computer from the links, or the Forum Rules in the YF, you will see what gems they are; especially in saving endless typed words of explanation for those who seek airgun education. ... Best regards, Harry.

I have always had a curious mind and was nearly always getting into trouble of one sort or another in quest for further knowledge. I joined this forum expressly to learn as much as possible, tapping into the wealth of experience that other shooters offered. From an early age, I have been able to place my mind into the particular scene being described and could almost feel the thoughts being presented. What resulted in my getting into trouble at times was my reluctance to accept information at face value. I always had to try something out to verify the information or tried my best to do better than what was offered. The worst thing anyone could do was to tell me that it couldn't be done!
