N/A Air rifle custom stocks

I was going to order a stock from them last month and reached out to them by email about that (tariffs).

They replied that collection happens on our end when the stock arrives in the US. They had no other information than that.

As I have heard a few stories from friends who have ordered other items from overseas, the process of how the tariff is collected on an item shipped directly to the buyer can be a real PITA. I’m not thrilled about having to pay an additional charge, but having an order stuck in tariff jail with the inbound shipper or at customs gave me pause.

I decided to delay the purchase until there’s a bit more clarity

I contacted them as well....they said they do not offer a stock for my 2007 RWS Diana 48. I refuse to pay a tariff tax if they did. I thought a direct shipment of a single small item was exempt from any tariff tax.....but things are so screwed up, or I am so confused I would also delay the purchase, even if the stock was offered.

They had exactly what I was looking for and was willing to suck up whatever the tariff was going to be since not having to pay the VAT would have negated most of any tariff to be paid. I’m not sure what has to happen or who to contact, so I guess I’ll wait a bit for things to get sorted out.

Great for you pjstreng.....! If they offered it on a '48, I would also jump on it. Need a photo of yours in its new tuxedo when it arrives! I cannot imagine how a tariff tax could be imposed on thousands of single items going from another country's manufacturer directly to a persons home!! I could make a wager that you pay no tariff tax! And of course, no vat tax. I am jealous!

Krale had no mention at checkout of my purchase having a tariff applied. When it arrived is when the tariff was added. Some what of a surprise, but oh well. Here is the double kick in the nuts, the item leaks out as fast as the nitrogen goes in. My hearing is bad and I could here the hiss. And more so with the loading gate open. Krale is not responding to my emails. Just a heads up for members contemplating.

Thanks...just sent them a message to see if the RWS Diana 48 spotter stock is available.

NOTE: Just received an answer back....nope, no 48 stocks.
I’m disappointed that they don’t offer Diana inlets for their stocks. I think there’s enough of us Diana collectors out there all over the world who would LOVE an upgraded walnut stock for their favorite rifles to make it worth their while. Even if they only did a 34 & 48 inlet, those both cross over to many other models. It’s a shame.

Do people not understand how tariffs work?? When your government slaps tariffs on items, it is not the foreign seller that pays the tarrifs, it is the buyer in the USA that pays it. Ihear of so many people that seem to think that because the tariffs are applied to foreign countires that it is them that pay. No, no, it is the BUYER in the US that pays. That's what makes this whole thing so ridiculous! The seller can't "waive" the tariff. It is applied when it hits the US.

Perhaps my post was unclear. I understand exactly who pays the tariff. The reason I delayed the stock purchase is that it is unclear to me HOW the tariff will be collected. Does the shipper collect before delivery? Exactly how much and when? Does the stock sit somewhere while customs awaits payment?

The stock maker in the U.K. doesn’t know, nor would I expect them to. I don’t even know who to contact in the US for answers.

Regarding my comment about “sucking up” the tariff charge, not having to pay the U.K. VAT would likely offset some or all of the tariff charge.
