Air leaking around the trigger area when trying to

Not familiar with your gun. If mine leak from that area 1st thing I check are the barrel o-rings that slide into breech. MIGHT apply to yours as well.

I would check the poppet.

Did you try cocking it before trying to fill?

I would take the action out of the stock. Should make pin pointing the leak easier.
