air in tank

hey guys is it ok to keep your air bottle full for a long time like a month or two ? i filled it up a while ago to check for leaks,so no leaks ! and hoping to get my FX tactical rifle from pyramyd air but its been over two months since i've heard from them i have no ideal sorry for the rant this is about the air tank!

It is actually a good idea to keep your PCP air tank full of air always. It is best for the seals if air pressure keeps them in place. My rifles have always had pressurized tanks from the day I got them. Some of them go back many many years.

Same here I always keep air in both my air tanks and in my pcp's no leaks no fuss.

If I store any PCP related items (guns, tanks etc.) for over a couple of months I would try to leave them at a pressure where I would usually refill them.

I usually store mine within a couple shots of going off regulator pressure. Dont know if it helps with reg springs over long periods of time? just precaution .

If I plan on storing or not using a gun for awhile I make it a habit to stick on a piece of blue painters tape on the stock that shows fill date, fill pressure after it settles, and time of fill. It sure beats trying to go off of memory if you so happen to unbox the gun and it shows a reading below what you normally fill it to.

Was it that extra shot you took before putting it away? Was your fill tank already too low to top off your gun at the time? A possible leak? 

At 57 years old, I wouldn’t be able to remember, so that’s why I label.
