Air hose inanity

Recently ponied up for a couple GX bent-neck whips because they annoy me the least out of the vast hoard that comes w buying the stuff you need for the obsession. It does not take long.

I've also received a few whips from Alteros that work very well too. Not sure if they're anything special over the knock-offs. Often the two paired together are perfect & it allows alternatives for airing.....IME

The slinky whips are hit or miss. I guess the hoses are fine but it's the sub-par fittings..but that's a whole different topic

What have you all gravitated to for your non-regulated air feed?

I've stuck with the GX hoses. I have 5 now and plenty of o-rings. Also have 2 of the Tuxing braided hoses off Amazon, simply for the length. Took a few returns to get one's that didn't leak under the braid. Also had one rupture. But 2 I have now have lasted nearly a year, one is on my filter setup that stays pressurized.

good to know...thanks for posting....it helps as i don't want to waste precious funds and stay safe....I'll focus on whips and associated parts from the GX brand

AOA sells an excellent 36" whip. It is light, flexible, very well made, and can be purchased with or without fittings.

I have two of these.
