Air gun technology barrel pellet choices

I have a uragan compact .177 that shot Crosman hp well for one tin must have been a fluke because no such luck any more. However form 500 FPS to beyond I have had stellar results with jsb exact heavy 10.3. 
I was wondering what other pellets or weight you all have tried. So far I’ve not had good luck with any light weight pellet 8 grains and under at any velocity.

I have the 22 STD length, so this may or may not help, mine loves the hn baracudas but hates the field target. Like most guns it also likes jsbs but not as much as the baracudas.

Thanks. I’m wanting some alternatives and this is good to know bec I’m wanting something easier to find than jsbs

Again I wish this was more specific to you but I've had decent luck with regular and hollow point crosmans. How long has it been since you cleaned your barrel, when shooting crosmans I clean every 500-1k rounds.

Yesterday I cleaned it lol. I had good luck with them one tin and have great luck with them in .22. So far I’ve tried jsb the 8g Crosmans, rws some gamo domes and gamo red fires, even Crosman destroyers. They won’t group consistently it’s 2 here 1 there and the rest where ever. My basement range is 14 yrds and I can’t get an inch. Except for jsb heavies. By chance do one know the twist rate. I haven’t tried higher quality ammo in light weight yet though. On the other hand my hw30 can’t shoot heavies consistently.

That is really bad being that close. Maybe try the jsbs again to make sure you don't have some other issue like the scope coming loose.

Another strange thing I've noticed, the crosmans will shoot better if I was using jsbs just before it. Maybe they gluid better over the fouling from them?

I'm not sure on the twist rate.
