The spinlock on my Texan .457 is stuck and I cannot get it loose. I broke my spinlock wrench trying to break it loose!! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to free it up without destroying the nut itself?

Did you remove the set screw ? If so, try a small punch and hammer in the slots of the spin lock..

Yes, I removed the set screw. I also tried tapping the notches with a punch but it was only putting big gouges in the spin lock and I was afraid I would damage the gun!!

I do... I actually have the bottle removed and was considering trying to turn the valve to loosen,but once again do not want to damage anything!!

Sooooo... I installed the AAO kit in my Texan! If I call Air Force and tell them that will they still be willing to help?

Maybe heat the frame around the spin lock with a heat gun and remove the fill adapter, gauges, and burst disc from the valve and use your strap wrench on the valve
Or maybe try Kroil and use it until it loosens...

That tool looks like a must have. I never really cared for the cheap spanner that came with my AF.TalonAir has a big spin lock wrench that might work.
