I have been trying to dial in with 350 grain HP bullets, Which way do I roll the power tune wheel for heavy bullets? I have read the book and searched but can't find a simple answer,Yes I am not very bright.Any help would be nice

you pretty much don't want to go much past the first mark, that being the closest to the tank. this is what airforce told me.
300-350, first mark
350-400, halfway between first and second
300-350, first mark
350-400, halfway between first and second

Turning the power wheel so the mark gets closer to the butt end of the gun puts more preload on the spring, which will cause the hammer to strike the valve harder. More preload is not always best.

This may be the wrong thread but here goes. I F*CKED UP with my .45 Texan CF. I adjusted the power wheel to squeeze more power for some heavy slugs (390gr, 420gr, 470gr and 500 gr) and forgot to mark my starting point. Now back to shooting my normal 220gr slugs, I am ALL OVER the friggin map with my shots. Before i dinked with it, i was cutting holes dead nuts bulls at 50-60 yrds. Mind you also, i never once touched my scope during my trial and error phase. I have spent about 5 hrs between 2 days to try and find where my power wheel needs to be reset to. Needless to say i have learned a valuable lesson with this rifle, (Don't **** with it again! Lol) Please, any help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

It's really a guessing game without a chronograph. Try setting at two marks from the muzzle and adjust to the butt from there.
