Selling my Raw . 20 and looking to replace it with the Condor. Can't beat the Raw but I'm parting with it.

Having built a Talon SS .22 to a Condor like gun I'm looking into the blems.

The Condor SS comes with the 18" barrel and the sound loc. They also have my favorite .20 caliber 24"a barrel in a blem.

Again having converted the Talon SS and using the sound loc has any one shot the . 20 in the condor? I'm assuming it has the high flow valve as I put in the Talon SS?

Easy sound loc conversion for me. The Raw shoots the 14.3 at 930 fps and us dead nut accuate. Got to replace the pcp. 20‼️

I stayed away from the AF for too many years and trades at the Arkansas poop show for the Talon SS. Never looked back but sold the cannon. Country life I can shoot just what ever now.

Retired and still rebuilding guns for others. Nothing but time in my hands now enjoying just what ever.

Thanks AGN for any info on my topic. I know it will not be a RAW BUT, the Talon/ Condor build was a cannon. Light weight, great LW BARREL. I like the single load factor because you take more time in shots and you do not go thru ammo as fast. Plus the AF Build is a simple built to work on. USA Made at that. Taking on RAW just made the AF brand that much better IMO.

I have the talon SS in 20 and it is shooting about 900 fps and is accurate. I put a mad dog stock on it which makes it more comfortable to shoot but it made it heavy. Heavy but stable and off a bipod it's lights out for Mr. rabbit.

I don't know if you would really need to go with all the condor innards unless you are going real heavy on the pellets. My 20 like both the jsb's and barracudas.

I have a condor SS in 22 and it's like the 20. It's great out to 75 yards or so but 100 it gets a little wild. But 75 or less it's mine.

Happy retirement and keep us posted on your progress

+1 what badammo said.

I’ve had AF .22’s with Condor and talon valves with barrels from 12” to 24”. Talon was a whole lot easier to tune and achieve flat shot string with plenty of power and shot count.

You’ll find a Condor valve will have a “peaky” power curve and a waste of air and ammo.

best of luck in your retirement.

Retirement is not new and has proven out to be not 😉 a dull day.

As an old CWI Heavy Industrial welding inspector plus all my other Hobby's and trades I can stay busy all day long. Left the city and corporate life for the country life.

As old Hank sang, Got a rifle a shotgun and a 4 wheel drive a country boy can service. Biggest thing is the income with my job was large. Now it's all outgoing and little coming in. Lol 💀

It's all what you make it. Heavy construction was always a different day but it's a young man's game. Wore me out and corporate really is not what everyone thinks. It was a 24-7 job with high risk job and responsible on inspection was jail time in a mishap or list of life. Did the Safety thing for 12 years with the QC work. Talk about responsible ‼️ Large multi craft background.

Thanks for the warning on the Condor. Being I had worked the Talon to a Condo I was wondering if it would be a cake walk. The Talon SS conversion had the same wacky power curve with the Condor upgrades. Always that sweet spot and fill pressure spot. Dang sure was not a 3000 psi fill gun. Hammer lock had a true meaning in that adventure. Puff and no pop, fell like a rock with to much fill. 💀

I have a Condor SS I bought at the Texas Airgun show earlier this summer. I have the ring loc kit to tune it with and am using an 18" .20 barrel right now. I drilled the .070 transfer port from the kit out to .095" and am getting 100 shots from about 820fps to 840 and back to 820 with JSB 13 grain pellets from a 2600 psi fill. The .125" transfer port was pushing near 30 ft lbs with both the .22 and .20 barrels, but I didn't run a full shot string with it. I just put it in a Mad Dog stock and like it so far. The ring loc kit really makes this a versatile platform, the .070" transfer port made it a 12 ft lb rifle or you can open all the way up as high as you want to push those heavier pellets.

Sounds good.

Contacted AF this on the Condor vs the Talon SS I build turning it into a condor.

Many questions I had and it was a pleasure to speak to someone about the difference in the true CONDOR/Condor SS. THEY informed me that I had indeed build a Condor and the new Condor had the same tank and hiflo valve I used. Even claimed the Condor came with the hammer weight and again the same weight of used in my build. The only difference is the receiver. Plus the Condor has the newer trigger and safety. I had the 2 grub trigger mod in my build.

As soon as the Raw is gone I Will purchase a blem Condor SS 18" barrel with the sound loc. Plus they do have me a blem 24" .20 H barrel.

If all works out I should have a balls to the wall .20 and a .22 combo. Going with the red. Going to CF wrap the sides leaving the rail red. Once again I will use the factory sound loc in a different can attached to the barrel as I did before. Easy fix x and no harm done to the sound loc parts. I'll be able to reinstall the parts back on the . 22 barrel just as the SS Comes.

No mad dog stock. I'll do as I do did before. I'll change out the forarm to a longer one. I make a adj reg rifle but pad that attaches to the factory band. AR 15 pistol grip.

Here was the Talon SS build.

Well got to say I am super impressed!

Gun shipped and the next day arrived.

Was not going to mess with the gun but man I had to . Swapped out the .22 barrel to the .20. For. Blem you'd have to be super picky to see anything.

Tank installed and filled to 2500 psi. .20 barrel no cleaning of the barrel which I should have but did not. That comes later. I wanted to see this thing on the chrony.

14.3 GR 0 setting in the power wheel. 1217 fps, 2 ND shot 1227. 3rd shot 1232 fps. Way to hot. But some of the chrony reading could be muzzle blast. No sound loc yet?

Adj butt pad made but not installed. Forarm ready fit ready for install.

Talking tunes 14" shroud should be her tommorow. Loud as a big pb .

Super nice gun. Once I get it dressed I'll shoot some pictures.

Satisfied for now. 💀

Hats off to AF.

Now ordering the top hat bushings to lower the power. This is a beast.

Yes I've seen his work. Great jobs with great results.

I'm not new to this hobby at all. Many spring guns have come and gone.

DARKSIDE ate almost all my spring guns.

But I swung back and forth. Now down to 2 PCP guns. Had some of the best.

All my work can speak for it self. All guns sold have been worked by me. Still no claim as a tuner. My barrel work be it a chop, face, crown or choke work. No returns and all have a warranty.

The AF guns took me years to test the waters. After my first one I have to say I really like the design. That is once you get past that bottle by your face. Lol 💀

Years ago working in Heavy Industrial Contracting my time was limited. Now it's not.

I'm no pro but if one does some research on (LOBOWHITEFANG) YOU will find years of work. My forum that is small has much Of my work per gun. And to date all rebuilds and more personal work is available.

OTHER forums as well. I use to do select people's work. But now I am open for the public.

This Condor is a work in progress.

Just finished warping the Savage cut forarm in my gun grip wrap. Pictures later.

Thanks AGN for allowing me to post my work and thanks for looking.
