Air cylinder on pcp pistol wont air up. Its on a pcp pistol where the cylinder is removed to fill. Do I need to unscrew the end and replace an oring ? The end cap of cylinder has 2 holes. How do I remove the cap?
Sounds like the check valve is stuck. I'd pull it apart, inspect, and order some orings the same size if you don't have em. If the valve is stuck, figure out why and repair. Might need to resurface the valve seal face... First step is finding the problem, then go from there.
it sounds like it takes a Spanner wrench, you could try to find the right size spanner wrench or use a pair of channel locks or pipe wrench, please note: using channel locks or pipe wrench will leave marks and scratches, some might be very deep, so be very careful when using these tools, you might try making a wrench from a socket that fit over the end cap snuggly and drill a pin hole that fits the hole in the end cap, use hardened spring steel rod for the pins, it might work.....
