air compressor seals

I have a Benjamin Traveler air compressor that a seal blew out where the hose to the gun joins the compressor. Fortunately I had a spare that came with the pump. Question is, is this a "high pressure" seal or will any rubber O ring like for water fittings do as long as it is the correct size?

Orings for high pressure tend to be 90 durometer and either viton or Buna N. I have the same compressor and use Vinton when making replacements. Remember, they are metric sized.
