Looking at buying an air chrony. I currently have an FX chrony and I’m not satisfied with it. Anyone with info or Experience with the air chrony I love to hear about it. Thanks

If your dissatisfaction with the FX chrony is that it misses a shot every now and then,that seems to be a common flaw. Mine does it, as well as others in my club that have one. Low batteries will cause it. Found that leaving the batteries in causes the batteries to go bad pretty fast. Since I have been removing them after every use, I have not had that issue with low or bad batteries

Air Chrony took the cake for me. Zero missed shots, not placement or light dependent and the software works well. A bit pricey but worth it IMO. No app or wireless connection to contend with either. Only complaint the menus are not super intuitive but the supplied diagram explains it well and doubles as a reference. Software is setup for metric by default, have to switch it to imperial BEFORE importing data. I heard these were a rip-off of another product. Can’t verify that but if it is, idgaf, it works great.

I picked up a Air Chrony to explore the upper limits of a .177 Huben K1. The learning curve wasn't difficult. The set up is easier, works fine for me.
