Air bolts out of my Dragon Claw?

I killed a hog and two deer last year with my Dragon Claw shooting 250 grain slugs, and want to hunt with Air Venturi air bolts this year. I'm having very little luck finding information on suitable broadheads, and good scopes that have speed adjustable reticles. Any of you folks care to share what works well for you? My rifle was tuned by Will Piatt not long before his untimely death, so it makes a little more power than stock. Am I correct to assume mine would surpass the typical 500 fps with these air bolts? Thanks in advance!

I was shooting Airbolts out of a stock Claw twin tube,

This is the original thread I made,....unfortunately I stopped my subscription on Photobucket so all the pictures are gone but if you are patient you can find some good info like shot string and arrow weights :

Broadhead wise I think the best for this application are either the Magnus Snuffer or the Wensel woodsman.

I never even shot the gun at full power ( you will see if you read the thread ) always shot it at Half cock and I was getting an incredible flat string with a farely heavy arrow I think in the 380 + fps

Also if you even remotely considering mechanical heads for the arrows I suggest you whatch the video in this thread

I really appreciate the links! I've really enjoyed you and Chris, and their valuable contributions through the years. Being a traditional bowhunter as well, I already have a great admiration for high FOC arrows. I do wonder if the higher point weights won't increase instability in a Dragon Claw set up that imparts thrust entirely from the nock end of the arrow.

I was using 160gr Snuffers initially on the Claw and didn't see any I've now settled on the 125gr

Yes the trust is from the nock but the barrel will keep the arrow inline and once up to speed the high weigh up front will drag the rest on a straight like

@AirArcher66 I keep coming across “Woodsman” or “Woodsman Elite” branded broadheads. Are these the same as the Wensel Woodsman broadheads that you’re recommending? Here is a link to one of many that I’ve seen in my search results. https://bowhunterssuperstore.com/br...KJogj2ptOWKB1g91veiEHnBHOdHe2mHIaAl5rEALw_wcB

Yup, Wensel is the guy who designed the heads ( I just always called them that way for some reason :ROFLMAO: ) , the 3 to one ratio makes this head even better then the Magnus Snuffer

Well, mixed results with the Dragon Claw. It fires field points very well. I shot on low power and am estimating its firing the bolts over 400 fps. Same point of aim and it only drops 2.5" at 30, and 5" at 40, this was using my 20 yd hold. Broadheads were hitting 5-6" high left at 30, so now I'm searching for a better broadhead. I tried 125 sniffers and Rage xbow x heads.
