Air Arms S510 TDR FAC Altaros regulator install

Just got done installing and testing the Altaros regulator installation in the Air Arms S510 TDR FAC. It was a successful surgery. Check out the chronograph results. I am now getting 30 shots on the reg with a 17FPS extreme spread.

Yes it’s my .177 Air Arms S510TDR FAC

With a proper hammer tune you can get that ES down to single digits while coming close to doubling your new shot count. What you want to do is use a 12fpe spring and remove a few grams at a time from the hammer.

Also you'll want to have the transfer port wheel wide open when doing this.

Yes that’s next, but for now this is a heck of an improvement.

Now that the Altaros regulator is broken in check out this shot string. I am getting this good of a extreme spread and standard deviation time after time now. Definitely worth the upgrade if you’re thinking about it you should do it!
