It seems like it has been taking AA a while to get this one out. I first became aware of it a couple of months ago, and I still don't see any 'in the wild' yet.

Nice rifle. Ive always liked th AA510 platform, but why do they insist on using that fill gizmo when there are Foster fittings available??

I also think that if they were going tactical in the styling, why not a bottle gun? Would have been more interesting to me - I'd love to see a 510 action mated with a bottle for high shot count. Maybe too far from the AA normal though.

The Air Arms rifles don't seem to get much love around here, but they seem to be a reliable and accurate rifle.

The AA S510 Ultimate Sporter is one of the best air rifles on earth. Not sure why they made this version though. Seems like an answer to a question that nobody asked. And TMH is absolutely right. If you’re going to do tactical version, throw a 580cc bottle on the front of it.

There's a few things I like and dislike. The MLOK forend looks good over the air tube cylinder. I personally don't like the looks of a bottle up front but that's just my opinion. I also agree they should change the proprietary twist fill that they use and just put a male foster in place. From all the post that I read, that's one of the parts most users switch out. One thing that doesn't fly with me is the gap between the AR-15 grip and bottom rear of the trigger guard. I can feel the discomfort already without even holding it. If you're going to design it to fit a standard AR-15 grip, do it right. Just some constructive criticism but who am I right?

I agree that the S510 is a great platform. Beautiful, accurate, dependable, quiet and it has pretty good power. My wife has one and it doesn’t get used often. Although it’s a super gun, the boys and I have our favorites and it gets neglected. We’re going to have to start shooting it more!

The stock and metal work on this air gun are superb. Super accurate too.

I think it looks really ugly. IMO the Ultimate Sporter is much nicer.

No doubt that the wood stocked Air Arms rifles are some of the most classically beautiful guns out there. But the tactical look definitely has an appeal to some.

Very true,beauty is in the eye of the beholder.They’ll gain some extra sales by going down the tactical look.

I swore off .177cal rifles on account of the seemingly constant wind where I live. I might have to pick up an AA rifle in .177cal some day just to have one for plinking at 30-40 yards. I'm definitely not a fan of the safety though. The long barrel (without a mod) should be neighbor friendly.

Well for one I really like pistol grips,....don't get me wrong I much prefer classic wood stocked rifles looks wise,

But pistol grips, adjustable buttstock in my opinion is much more comfortable,...also tac set ups usually turn out to be lighter then wood stocks

As much as I like a nice walnut stock, if the tactical comes with the adjustable transfer port I could see myself becoming a sparrow sniper with a .177cal version.

Lol, well I may happen to agree and yes at one time I was a soldier but many prefer a tactical appearance. 

I have a friend who has carried a big knife ever since watching the movie Rambo, to each is own.
