air arms s400 fac

Without a transfer port adjuster a regulater and hammer tune are about all you can do without drilling out the transfer port. This is because AA doesn't have an adjustable hammer with little room for shimming. So you can play around with different strength springs and hammer weights untill you've achieved your desired results. A tip will be to start with your regulator at 120bar. Also be very gentle with your assembly/disassembly as the screws are steel going into aluminum and can strip or cross thread very easy.

I’m installing an Altros FAC regulator in my S510TDR FAC today I plan on doing a video of the installation and testing. I sure hope it works

sounds great finger crossed for ya

The surgery was a success I’ll be posting a separate thread regarding the installation later but thought you guys would like to know how things went. Prior to the install of the Altaros regulator I was only getting 15 shots before pellets went haywire. Here are my chronograph results now. I was able to double my shot count to 30 shots on the regulator.

maybe just add a regulator to even out the shots then

def seems worth while doing it then, no hole needed

Yes it’s definitely worth the time and money to do the regulator installation on an unregulated S510 Or 410. I found the JSB .177 10.34gr pellets like to fly at the mid 800’s FPS at any other speed fo my S510 they seemed to not group well. Unfortunately you cannot precisely adjust the velocity using the transfer port adjuster, and if you did you’d just be wasting air.
