because I'm a Prosport owner/shooter, I wanted to know if a Prosport is so good out of the box why isn't there barely any being used in competitions/tournaments?

When I started shooting FT I shot my ProSport in hunter class, Only stopped shooting it because I moved to open with a PCP.
I see quite a few ProSports being shot, Almost as many as TX200's. I think most are not shot competitively because they tend to be harder to cock than TX and other regular underlever guns.

Really good question. I have asked the same. The athletics of the Prosport are perfect, no visible underlever.

And the answer is, because they are expensive. They are also awkward to cock and load until you get used to them, however they have the same power plant as a TX-200 and much better balance for offhand shooting. I always found it surprising that they have not been more popular, but now you can buy a decent PCP for the same money.

I have the AAProSport in 22 and I love it! it does take some getting used to, and requires, learning the cocking and loading procedure but it's well worth the effort IMO.
