Air Arms Prosport

We know how some air rifles have partially or fully shrouded barrels. Like for example the arms pro sport and/or the HW98 have fully shrouded barrel. Without taking the shroud off, even if it was made to be removable, how can they be
recrowned?

The HW98 doesn't have a shrouded barrel, it has a sleeve over the barrel.
Shouldn't be any problem to recrown a 98.

Regardless if it's a shroud or a sleeve I'm talking about something that cannot be removed how would you crown it if it cannot be removed? Smh

I think Josh is referring to muzzles that are recessed down inside of a shroud or sleeve and not easily accessed for recrowning.

Yes the Pro Sport shroud is glued/epoxied on from the factory. With some very careful heating they can be removed but I don't recommend it!
Air Arms takes great care in barrel prep and really shouldn't be anything wrong with the crown.
Although I have read a couple treads on barrels in recent years being a little oversized on the bore especially in .22! Jim at ARH for one has mentioned it! If you're having accuracy issues you need to find a good snug fitting pellet. Something that takes a little pressure to push it in the breach! H&N FTTs in 5.53 head size is good place to start.

The sleeve on a 98 stops at the end of the barrel and doesn't cover it, the end of the barrel and the crown are exposed.
