Air Arms Field Heavy

Trying our some different pellets in the .22 Gladius Short. 

Only 30 yards so no bench rest winner but these were shooting better than some others. 

On one group there was some gusting wind that blew one of to the right

I adjusted the scope between groups so it didn’t shift on its own

I haven’t tried different power settings with these yet.

They are one of my favorite pellets! They shoot hole in hole when shot from my FX Crown. But, they do tend to like like higher speeds, get them up to between 900-950 fps and see what happens.

I would specifically try the 16gr and 18gr in your gun.

Are the Heavies the 18gr you shooting?

If so sounds like your guns low on power.

Will kick the power up and try that out.

I shoot the Air Arms Diabolo Field 16 grain in two guns, a SPA M10 and an AirForce Condor, with excellent results. They also shoot well in a Gladius Long but it likes H&N better.

The AA 18gr edged out the JSB 18gr at 50 yards in my Hatsan FlashPup. Not by much tho.
