Air Arm S510 targeting rats again

Back at the Nursery Barn again for the 3rd time looking for rats. I brought my Air Arm S510 .177 cal low power air rifle to do the pest control work.

Not many rats anymore. I only saw 6 and I managed to tag all six before calling the night. A couple of coyotes were howling just outside of the barn, making it very eerie to hang out in the area. I will have to get back on my quest to hunt for my next coyote again.

Enjoy this video. Hopefully the rats will reproduce and give me more moving targets to practice my marksmanship again.

Max , great video as always. I went to the barn this past Saturday & hung out throughout 3 separate T -Storms . Not figuring on much activity, 'cause I've taken 8-10 over the last month. I took two magazines (12 shots ea.) with me into the barn. Rats were spotted earlier in the day by the farmhand so I figured 24 shots would be plenty. As soon as I turned on the IR light I spotted eyes everywhere ! Long story short ,I missed a few but came away with 10 rats plus a couple mice in the bucket with several rats not retrieved because of extra messy conditions in the holding area.No time for pics as the rain slowed enough to toss the bucketful over into the pasture for the"cleanup crew" & get out of there just in time for the next storm dump ! I was using my Kral NP03 ,w/ a bottle/reg conversion .I emptied both mags ! It's tossing Hades 15.89gr.s at ~ 650fp.s at the current setting. My ranges are close to what you were just into. Also, several rats were just a bit larger than mice , so the next generation was coming out & about on their own.

Nicely done! Always bring enough ammo as you never know when you will need the extra shots. Good job tagging them rodents. I am hoping the rats will repopulate quickly so I can come back out to feed them some tiny .177 cal lead, lol.

I will go to the other farm for some outdoor and much larger rats action with my FX Impact MK2 or with my HW100T. Cheers.
