AGT Vixen Introduction

The Vixen looks like a great gun. But do they have an FAC rated version? i.e. 18 ft/lbs in 177 and 20s ft/lbs for .22? If not the Vixen will not sell well in the USA, especially at that cost.

If I understood correctly, in the video the rep said the Vixen is a less expensive AGT gun. The Vixen in Europe is selling for around 1200 to 1300 euros, looked, and the Urugans sell and Vulcans sell for 1500 euros plus. Talon Tunes has them for $1500 which is the price of a Vulcan 2 synthetic, which is supposed to be a "level higher" than than the Vixen, and is FAC rated.

I love the looks and idea of the Vixen, because I am looking for a compact "travel" gun. However, the way AGT is marketing the Vixen in USA is head scratching.

Agree they are slightly under powered. I have the short or standard, .22 16 grain @ 800 fps. Actually that is very good coming from a 10 inch barrel. The Long has a 400 mm or close to 16 inch barrel. I believe they are close to 900 fps, not bad. At 40 yards my Vixen is more accurate than my FX Impact & a lot lighter. Well more accurate for me. Trigger pull on the Vixen is way better than my Impact. After having the Vixen, my Impact feels like it weighs a ton. I don't think the Vixen will be for the one gun guy, but for most of us who have a half dozen plus pcp rifles, it will be one more arow in our quiver & maybe one of our most accurate. This is the first PCP I have had in several years that I shoot everyday , I have it hanging above my desk & pick it up at least once day & walk outside & shoot it. I love it. I am anxious to see how it does on squirrels this fall.

With the factory shroud it is not bad. kind of pingy. You cannot add another moderator to the the shorud. You can remove the shroud and add a moderator to the muzzle threads, but will be extremly loud. Tried a Tanto & it was extremely loud. Keep in mind this rifle has a barrel that is less than ten inches long & is propelling a 16 grain pellet 800 fps. The factory shroud is doing a good job. I imagine that the 'Long" should be quieter. See video below. When someone else it shooting the gun, it seems fairly quiet.
