AGT Uragan Mlok ?

1st post..
I have a Gen1 Uragan on its way & need to set it up for night shots on close range coons. I would like to keep a long range scope on it. I have Sightron & Leupold for that. No pic rail rings yet & shopping for those. I need to mount a flashlight/laser & can't seem to find for sure if the Uragan hand guard in Mlok capable. If not then I guess Im stuck with offset pic rail mount for Olight etc..
Doesn't seem I can mount light on the bottom rail as my hand will be in way unless offset or under scope tube & also affset. If the Uragan is indeed Mlok capable then this all should be much easier.

When I first looked at the support rail on the Uragan I have been shooting, I thought the long slots were true M-Lok but, unfortunately they are not 100% M-Lock standard. The size and the spacing are slightly different, so you can't fit some M-Lok accessories that have multiple stops on them, but some single slot items I have will fit, others almost fit. Some would need minor fitting with a needles file on the part to fit the slot. None of my M-Lok multiple slot longer attachments fit like my Arca Swiss adapter plate. On the bottom in the front are 3 Key Mod slots. Too bad they didn't stick with all M-Lock with the proper spacing for everything but the picatinny rail section.

Depending on the brand / maker, of the M-Lok accessory you buy, you might get lucky. Some that I have are way off from fitting, others are just a few thousandths too big.

If the key mod x 3 spots are correct fitting.? , then I suppose I could put a small pic rail there & mount the light/laser. Definitely to bad on the Mlok stuff not fitting. I do think the Olight I was looking at was single slot, but sounds risky as it might not fit.

Which Olight are you looking at? This one looks like it might fit as the tabs are pretty small. If it didn't, removing a small amount of metal from the two tabs on each far end with a needle file would fix it, but might void the warranty. I actually prefer a QD Picatinny mount so I can swap it around without tools but that does make it protrude farther away from the handguard.

The Key Mod slots look correct to me, but I don't have anything with that interface on it. It wouldn't be too difficult to fit the Olight on one of the M-Lok slots, but you would probably want to remove metal on the light rather than the handguard assembly. Or, you could get a small M-Lok to Picatinny rail which would be very inexpensive, file it to fit as needed, might not need to, then mount a Picatinny rail version of the Olight on that. I can measure the spacing if you want and maybe the seller on the Olight would give you the measurement on their light. I have two different Olight laser / light combos and quite like them. The only thing I didn't like about the Olights was that they moved with the locking tension set to max compression. On most Picatinny rails they need an O-Ring added in the locking mechanism to make it lock on tightly.

Photos below show the M-Lok parts that I tried on this Uragan handguard / extension. The long metal ones are M-Lok to Arca Swiss Plates marked Shine Wee from Amazon, and won't fit unless you take some metal off the tabs to clear the non spec spaced / shaped holes, including the square shaped recoil tabs that aren't threaded. They fit dozens of M-Lok handguards that I have around with no issues, so I am not thinking the problem is with the plates. The plastic short ones are M-Lok to Picatinny rails and they snap in without too much effort. The longer one is a tighter fit. I would relieve some material on each end of the protruding tabs for that one.
