Pros:

Ergonomic and comfortable. Adjustable butt pad. Well balanced. Good factory shroud with provisional threaded end for extra hush if needed or desired. Very smooth, switchable biathlon style cocking lever that is mounted in the forward position Very good magazine that fit flush in the action. Great, adjustable trigger. 530cc CF bottle produces a lot of shots. Factory pic rail for bipod or accessory mounting. Efficient (good regulator), powerful and accurate. 

Cons:

..............If I have to nitpick; it could be more quiet from factory but then that adds needless length for those that don’t need super quiet. It’s very lubed up around the action as delivered and should be whipped down or the lube will continue to seep out. With the two Uragans that I’ve handled, the bottle protector needed to be adjusted as to not push up on the CF bottle.

Thought I would share my thoughts on this fine PCP as I’ve owned it for a few months now. That and I am riding a high from competing with it today for the first time and achieved great results. Uragán is Hurricane in Czech.

Good to see another post on this. I truly enjoy shooting mine. Have hardly touched many of my other guns over the past couple months until just recently. Gearing up for my 1st FT shoot in 2 years and have the .177's on the bench.

Is the power easily adjustable on these? I don't recall seeing that info anywhere. Great looking guns!

There is a hammer spring tension (HST) adjuster. The HST adjuster can be used for small power adjustments. The stock needs to be removed for this adjustment. For bigger changes, I’d recommend adjusting the regulator.

Great shooting brother! Looks like you've found your gun. I'm sure we'll see that at all the major competitions over the next year. I know you couldn't make EBR, but after that I'm sure! So now instead of Team Purple Terminator we'll have to be Team Terminator Hurricane!!! Awesome looking gun! Is that a DonnyFL Tatsu that you drilled out a bit?

I wonder why Evgeny didn't put a 20 MOA rail on this new model?

It can be adjusted as light and crisp (zero creep) as a Taipan trigger. I had mine down to 4 ounces and decided to add a bit more. 

Taipan triggers though are just so well laid out. Very highly adjustable and you can see exactly what you’re doing with the access plate removed. They are top of the class triggers IMO.

20 MOA rail is nice to have. Yes, Donny was kind enough to bore a Tatsu for .30 use. Over-the-top customer service from Donnyfl as usual.

This is the .30 Uragán. It’s shooting the 44.75gr at 900 fps for 55 shots on a fill.

My bad, thought it was a 25 cal. 80 FPE from a .30 with 55 shots, sounds like you've got it tuned very well. Continued success with any future competitions.

Good shooting, sir, and your set up is beautiful. 


I'm looking to get into the PCP club and have been asking a few users for their thoughts on my shortlist. I have seen the few YouTube reviews on this rifle, and everything i have read is excellent. Currently, my .25 list is down to the Brocock Bantam Sniper HR, Uragan, Wildcat MKII Compact, and maybe Vulcan 2 Bullpup. I would not be customizing a lot and want to buy new since i have not found a place in Houston that does repairs. My use will be mainly hunting and pest control, and I want the rifle to be backyard friendly. 


Mr. L.Leon speaks highly about his Brocock, but since i would be getting the smaller barrel instead of the magnum i read on Airgun Depot's writeup that it would be better to get the magnum if i was going for .25. I also like the idea of buying my scope and rifle from Krale and having them do my mount and zero with my purchase and save a few hundred bucks over buying in the U.S.
