I sincerely doubt it would ever see pistol form in my hands. Would love to have one though, that's for sure! Brocock is at the top of my list of favorite makers!

from a line of air guns I happen to be a fan of.
Looks like a pistol version of the Concept Lite,
which I'm considering in .25 cal. I love the build
quality, I suppose with an H&N Hornet in .22,
this pistol could be a viable close range hunter,
but I honestly would love to see this pistol with
power similar to the Airforce pistol,
Definitely a tank of a pistol, like everything
in the XR line; built to last. Thank again and

A week ago I returned my Ataman AP16 due to a cylinder leak. My third defective Ataman AP16. Done with the Ataman and am totally loving the Atomic XR. AoA says that they’ll be back in stock in three to four weeks and I’m getting one for sure. After shooting the Ataman which I loved the accuracy of it, I prefer pistols over rifles. I’d probably use the Atomic XR like I did the Ataman AP16 for field target shooting out to 50 yards.
My present backyard shooting range is only 50 yards but I plan on making making another range out to 100 yards where I hope the Atomic XR in carbine mode will be able to reach. Never had a Brocock but all my research so far points to it being a robust, accurate and unproblematic brand. Hoping to hear further comments from Brocock owners about the reliability of the brand.

Really love the look of this. Never had a Brocock, only been collecting for a year now. But this is nice ..giving me something to think about

Brococks are solid... Check out Danas' in the field review of the Atomic. He sets the standard for reviews IMHO.

Steve is putting in a lot of hours working on his "Pro Tune", "Power Tune, and Eco Tune" for the Atomic XR. I've decided to focus on a "Happy Tune" which gives me the most power without being jumpy, wasteful, or "unhappy". So I settled on just over 700 fps with 15.9g pellets.

Power factor at 11, is that turned all the way up? Or does the power factor go up to 20? Getting three magazines per fill at high power is great but wondering if turning the power down to get more shots affects the accuracy.

Stunning gun. Trying to decide on a small carbine .177 in that $1000-$1500 range. Leshiy, Veteran, and this are top contenders.

Not sure what the ProChrono means by power factor? If you look to the left one column you can see the actual energy at the muzzle 17.25 - 18 fpe

Okay I can see that the fpe ranges from 17 to just over 18 which implies that the power wheel is turned up high. I was wondering if the power wheel is turned down low where you’re getting more shots per fill, does that affect the accuracy?

As an FAC option this looks like an amazing, tight quarters, in and around buildings, variable power pesting machine! So versatile.
