Aftermarket .22 Barrel

Hi,

I'm curious if there's any fast twist .22 cal blanks available for airguns. I want to experiment with a fast twist, perhaps ~1:12, in my Taipan Veteran to test out a theory I have with RD Monsters. 

Is there any place I could source something like this?

I know that there's adapters floating around to allow Taipans to use FX barrels, perhaps FX has something like this?

I wonder if anybody has had Bartlein make a custom barrel for a PCP, I'm truly curious how much better one would shoot?!

For the most part all we see is lower end barrels that cost less than $100, right?

I'm using a cold hammer forged TJ barrel. Lots of guys use them. I dont think there is any barrel available for airguns in that caliber with a rate that fast. Most manufacturers and barrel makers are learning that something around 1:22 is a good compromise for slugs and pellets. While slugs/heavier pellets need a slower rate than that. My pellet barrel is 1:18

So I have a premium barrel manufacturer that can make me a barrel, as long as they have the tooling for the bore and groove size.

Anyone have any dimensions or specs on the groove size we use for airguns, in this case, .22?

Knifemaker posted about putting an after market barrel on a JSAR Raptor with very good results. My memory says it was an inexpensive project. Hopefully he'll chime in.
