Friday I leave for California for a long turkey hunt. Going to a great area outside of Redding with about 12k acres to hunt. The guns I'm taking are the Brocock Compatto, the AirArms 410 TDR FAC, and the Hatsan Galatian. Already shipped them out, along with a CF tank, hope everything is there. Allowed one turkey per day with a maximum of three, hope to exercise all three rifles! Anybody been out for turkey yet or getting ready for a trip of their own? Jim

Turning out to be one of my favorites, it's close to the perfect storm; accurate, powerful, ergonomic, and compact. Been great on rabbits and Pdogs, can't wait so see the performance on these big birds. Will probably be my small game gun on this years trip to S. Africa.

The Hatsan Gladius .25 long is #1 on my list but the Compatto is a strong 2nd. I just keep soaking up more info on it as it gets reviewed. For me, I'd love to see a side by side on those two. I'm sure all three guns you've got going turkey hunting with will perform great. Looking forward to the video and report.

Make sure we get pictures, I would like to see how the hunt goes out there. My home here in NC near mountains has lots of Turkey in the fields.I should learn to airgun hunt them.
