The only way to get this shot count is by milling out the transfer port holes. He also made berral transfer port oval. The valve housing was milled out to create more volume I can get 70 shots on a single fill now. This is highly moded its the only way for it to be done. Ernest rowe is the man behind this beautiful work!!

If I were to put ernest extended reg tube on it I would get 85 plus shots! Wow i couldnt be happier this is fantastic!!

The Impact .25 is on my top 3 for next purchase and I really like what you have posted,just out of curiosity about how much did the Mods run from Ernest? I wonder if you dialed it down to around 830 and add the extended reg tube you might be close to 90-95 shots.

Well I done all the mods while you guys are on Ted's Drama trend. 

Those photos are stock photos, on franks impact the valve housing have 4 large mill hole aft of the oring to add more air space then had to machine an oring groove to seal that end.

the on board gauge was off by 45b so the 1st shot count I gave franks is off. And the tune was a reseal and replace the broken Metal valve seat and a lot of polish of moving parts. Not a max shot count tune. Will post photo of the valve hosing with all the mill slots and holes. 

Next shot tune is a .22 at 32fps getting 200+ shots per fill.

Sweet,what would an estimate shot count be in .177 as I'm in the market for a high-end rifle with cf bottle and high shot count.

Sorry not taking any more tunes, have to finish the remaining guns I have now, then start a home project. 

Never had a .177. So hard to say-- but .177 have the most shot count to start out with. 

I would think 250-300 shots st 18fpe

My off the shelf trick for high shot count is shoot a177, I get 140 at a 18 for and over 200@. 12 for. 480 cc carbon fiber bottle

So, after all, my statement in the previous thread of saying that 40 shots at 845 fps was very poor which caused a lot of commotion wasn't so strange after all since the air tank was missing 45 bar
I know, those stock gauges are pretty useless, mine's off 40 bar as well, but I always check my filling adapter gauge while filling, it's pressure is spot on.
Now, be happy and shoot the crap out of it.

b.t.w. regarding shotcount between .177 and .22, a .22 is more efficient than a .177 when both shot at the same energy level, and therefore will get more shots per fill than a .177.
See the movie of the 12fpe UK impact version, it is getting 720 shots per fill in .22 cal.
Pretty impressive.

Like I said I'm not that old to learn, the learning part is always verify the gun gauge to Bottle guage it's not common to see a gauge that far off so I don't look at every gun, in this case I should have.

that said 45b isn't 's going to give me 69 shots, Maybe 10 or so.

let see if I can top that 12fpe 720 shots .22 impact I think I can do it and know I can get 200+ at 32fpe 

also with tuning hundreds of .177 and .22 the .177 alway out count the .22
so kinda disagree on that.

Less air will pass through A smaller hole with the same amount of time before the valve close.

Uh...I am getting 72-80 shots @ 20 fpe with 190 cc tank and only using 96 bar (1400 psi)...This is with a .25 cal. Please try to do that in a .177 (72-80 shots @ 20 fpe on same amount of air)....I find it rather unlikely you will do it..

The heavier the pellet the more potentially efficienct it can be due to it moving slower in the barrel and consuming more energy from air expended versus a lighter pellet trying to make the same FPE, it will exit the barrel sooner and waste more air...

Not gonna argue though and I am glad you achieved the shot count that could easily be predicted as possible. In fact I'll say this....

on 480cc of air at 250 bar shooting down to 130 bar (120 bar air use) which is what you should be ideally doing...SHOULD be good for AT LEAST 75-80 shots @ 53 FPE....additionally if you were tuned very, VERY, VVEERRYY well you would get about 90-100 shots at that power level....and that is only 1.3 FPE/CI which is where I am currently at shooting jsb 34 kings at 840 fps out of a modified marauder. YMMV...as barrel length plays a huge role in the above figures and mine is 19.4"...I believe the fx impact is 23.4" which works in its favor if so.
