The following will be part of an ongoing bi-weekly update report, in an effort to keep Big-bore Airgunners up-to-date on our current goings on, and an opportunity to participate in a more structured/consistent manner here on Airgun Nation with others in this great industry, that share our passion for this Airgun segment.
Aeromagnum Aeromunition Re-Launch Update:
Hello Airgunners,
well, the equipment has arrived, new molds, as well as new design prototype molds are being machined and thanks to Edwin Bumpass from Airguns of Texas, we have recently procured 35,000,000 grains of 99.999% pure, Grade A lead.
This bulk batch of pure lead is now ready to be blended into our new & improved, proprietary lead alloy mixture.
The decision to develop this improved lead alloy mix, was done so in an effort to provide an all around, more superior/uniform finish, provide reduced friction during rifling engagement, and to reduce lead fouling, providing you with increased duration of consistent accuracy and performance between barrel cleanings.
This new proprietary lead alloy mix, will then be cast into (5) all new, accurate and extremely effective designs, to be utilized in a wide variety of Big-Bore Airguns, ranging in calibers .257 thru .50/.51.
Please note: although our current HP offerings provide a very flat, accurate, hard hitting trajectory, with up to a 90+% HP expansion (well proven this past hunting season), resulting in more knock down energy/hemorrhaging; we have been paying attention to what many Big-bore Airgun Hunters are seeking: "AN INCREASE IN HEMORRHAGING".
Well, you can rest assured, that your requests are very important to us, and have certainly played an important factor in these new and exciting design offerings. Much research has gone into this subject and we are doing our best to fulfill your request.
As many of you already know, we offer no product whatsoever, until it has passed an extreme regiment of Field Testing, by up to no less than 4 Field Testers per design.
In that mix of 4, we always like to have at least 1 "newbie". All 4 Field Testers, must be active Hunters, have the ability to test out to 100-yards minimum and NEVER Field Test tethered.
As we prepare for our exciting re-launch, a re-launch that always has YOU, the Big-bore Airgun Hunter in mind, we have also decided to make our already rigid Quality Control standards...even more rigid/tighter.
Moving forward, instead of a weight tolerance being within 1.0% of each projectiles specified weight, we have decided to reduce that spread down to .07% of the specified weight.
These high standards of quality are an ongoing, consistent effort, to provide our valued Big-bore Airgun Hunters with increased predictability and confidence, every time you squeeze the trigger.
Why do we go through such extremes? Well, it's simple actually. The bottom line, is that I truly care, and sincerely want to provide the most effective humane take-downs possible.
