Aeon scope issue

I received this scope as a Xmas gift, mounted it on a wildcat .25 and I never really could get it zeroed and stay zeroed. so toady I checked the eye piece and there is up and down and side to side movement and it moves the reticle around. I'm guessing this is NOT normal correct ? thanks and happy new year.

That is not normal! Sorry to hear that. I have the 8-32x50 with target dot and its a decent scope. Gets pretty dark at the higher end but most high power scopes do.

Is the lock ring for the eye piece tight? I have seen scopes that wiggle slightly when the lock ring for the adjustment is loose.

Go to the website and get ahold of Steve Smith. He's the contact guy for Aeon here stateside. I've been working with them about just such an issue recently.

You can reach Steve or Charlie through WWAG as well. Their customer service is excellent. Definitely not normal.

I had the same problem with a aeon 6-24x50 scope. There is no lock ring on these scopes. the ocular ring seems to have a wobble in some cases.

Send mine back and got a refund. Also noticed that it is hard to get a crisp sharp image by adjusting the sidefocus wheel on a 10-40x56 aeon scope at 100+ yards. image clearness was better than expected.

I own a hawk sidewinder tac 6.5-20x42 and this is a way better scope i.m.o. Quality and image wise the aeon is not a match
